Programs at SMUS

Day and Boarding School
St. Michaels University School is both a day and boarding school. Boarding students, in Grades 8 to 12, attend the school while living on the school's Richmond Road campus.
A St. Michaels University School education is about much more than classes and curriculum. Our programs bring other goals - leadership, character development, personal growth - into the classroom as well as beyond it. Extracurricular and curricular studies are not separate entities at SMUS, and our academic program is supplemented and strengthened by opportunities that take students into the great outdoors, into the spotlight and into the world of self-discovery.
On all campuses, our goal is to make community connections and apply learning to real-world issues and problems. Beginning in Kindergarten, the academic program is designed to foster literacy, numeracy, creativity, critical thinking skills, and personal and social responsibility. SMUS is also a leader in personalization, giving students choices and challenges which are unique to them. Above all, a SMUS education instills a love for learning, fostering the skills and curiosity students need to succeed at all levels of their learning.
