Boarding Scholarships

Scholarship girl celebrates graduation at SMUS

Each year, SMUS offers more than $500,000 in merit-based boarding scholarships

At St. Michaels University School, we celebrate individual commitment to excellence, in academics and life, and contribution to community. Our scholarships honour the outstanding work of boarding students before they arrive at SMUS in recognition of the great ways they will contribute to the school community.

Successful applicants are students who are:

  • Invested in their academic success;
  • Involved in a variety of extracurricular activities (for example music, drama, athletics);
  • Involved in school and or community in a leadership or humanitarian role; and
  • Interested in post-secondary education or similar educational opportunities.

SMUS offers a limited number of the following merit-based, entrance scholarships to new boarding students each year. Scholarships cover a portion of tuition fees (see what fees cover). All students can also apply for financial aid, which is needs based.
