Can you write and illustrate a book in a week? We will show you how, in this special week of brainstorming, creating, drawing - and writing! We'll create unique characters and bring them to wild and imaginative settings where each participant will write their very own story. Children don't need to know how to write, only how to imagine as they become authors for the first time! Stories will be bound into books to keep! Discover the true space scientist in you as we moonwalk our way to Boulders Climbing Gym for some space-rock climbing. Create a design that can be silkscreened, then print it on paper, fabric or on your own clothes that you bring in! We will use many different screen techniques, and we hope that you bring in your own clothing items such as a plain T-shirt, jeans or an apron that you can print your designs on. Silkscreen ink is permanent on fabric, so remember to bring a smock or big T-shirt to wear over your good clothes!
